OFS SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES TREATMENT PROGRAM
|
|
One in four people are affected by substance abuse. Substance abuse and
addiction can impact families in many ways: |
Anger
Relationship difficulties
Anxiety and depression
Violence
Health problems
Behavioral problems
Job problems
|
|
Addiction is a complex disease that negatively
affects every aspect of a person's life. The nature of the addiction
process can be stopped and relapses prevented through commitment to proper
treatment, sobriety or abstinence, and recovery, which is a lifelong endeavor.
Oakland Family Services offer counseling services for people who are
dealing with these issues.
