A.P.EX. is a state-funded, early childhood development program for four-year old children in Farmington, Pontiac, and Waterford, Michigan.
A.P.EX:
- uses the High/Scope curriculum, a nationally recognized model of early learning
- operates concurrently with the school year (October to May)
- preschool runs four days a week (Monday - Thursday)
- child care available at all A.P.EX. locations
- parent participation opportunities
- family support services
- resource and referral network

SPECIAL SERVICES AVAILABLE TO A.P.EX. FAMILIES
FOR CHILDREN: Quality preschool classes, field trips, special events, kindergarten readiness, development assessments
FOR PARENTS: Group meetings, parent educational opportunities, parent involvement activities, parent/child groups, father groups
FOR FAMILIES: Family activities, resources and referrals, parent/teacher conferences, home visits, counseling services, support groups
