WHO ARE OFS VOLUNTEERS?
They are people just like yourself, busy people with
families, careers and other responsibilities. |
They are people with talents and expertise, with
education, employment and personal skills. |
They are people with a diversity of interests and
desires. |
But most of all, they are people with a strong
desire to help others and to give back to their community.
WHAT TYPE OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES DOES OFS
OFFER?
OFS offers many different on-going, one time or time
limited volunteer opportunities. |
OFS offers one time opportunities such as assisting with our
fundraising events
or improving our facilities which may include improving the children's
playground, planting flowers and gardening or assisting parents with
young children. |
Opportunities exist for office assistance,
data processing, developing brochures and flyers, and/or mailing out
various communications. |
And lastly, there is the potential for you to assist
with Holiday events, parties and special outings for our children and
families. |
When you decide to volunteer for OFS we will teach you, challenge you,
and acquaint you with new experiences and ideas. We will
introduce you to new people, provide orientation, training and
supervision. But most of all, we will appreciate you for your
generous contribution of time and talent for helping children and
families in need.
