Emily Stefanic brings a unique and integrated perspective to mental health care as a Physician Assistant with a background in counseling. After earning her Master’s in Counseling in 2008, she worked as a home-based therapist, clinician, supervisor, and quality manager at Oakland Family Services before returning in 2019 as a PA-C. 

In her current role, Emily provides medication management for individuals ages 5 through end of life, addressing a range of mental health and substance use disorders. Her approach blends clinical expertise with therapeutic insight, using motivational interviewing and brief cognitive-behavioral strategies to support patient engagement and understanding. 

Emily values collaboration with therapists and medical providers to ensure each individual receives coordinated, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
