National Recovery Month: Day One shares clients' experiences to give others hope that recovery is possible

September is National Recovery Month, a time to reinforce the positive message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can and do recover. The 2019 Recovery Month theme, "Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Are Stronger," reminds us mental and substance use disorders affect all of us and we are all part of the solution. Day One is sharing clients’ experiences to raise awareness and give others hope that recovery is possible. You can learn more about National Recovery Month through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
