Bethany Hebron, LLMSW
Wayne State University School of Social Work
Bethany Hebron is passionate about providing trauma-informed care to adolescents, transitional-age adults, and women. With experience in foster care case management and psychotherapy at a psychiatric clinic, she has worked with children, teens, and young adults navigating a range of mental health challenges.
Bethany takes a client-centered approach, ensuring that individuals feel heard and supported in a safe therapeutic space. She incorporates motivational interviewing techniques to encourage self-exploration and goal setting, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills to enhance emotional regulation and distress tolerance. She also integrates grounding and mindfulness techniques to help clients manage anxiety and stay present. When appropriate, she utilizes play therapy as a creative and engaging way to help younger clients process emotions.
Bethany is committed to empowering individuals on their journey toward healing and well-being.
