Kym Carlson has been providing therapy to children and adults since 2008 and has been a valued clinician at Day One since 2013. With years of experience supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments, Kym brings a warm, informed approach to her practice. 

She specializes in women’s issues, anxiety, complex PTSD, and life transitions, working with clients of all ages. Kym integrates a variety of strategies, including motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skill development, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). 

By creating a safe, empathetic space, Kym empowers her clients to build resilience, gain insight, and develop tools to navigate life with confidence and clarity.
