Scott Stanton is a dedicated Day One therapist at Oakland Family Services where he has been providing compassionate care since May 2024. He specializes in working with individuals aged 15 to 65, including veterans and those facing substance use disorders. 

Scott utilizes a variety of approaches to support his clients, including motivational interviewing (MI) to foster self-driven change, strength theory to empower personal growth, and trauma-focused care to help individuals process and heal from past experiences. He also incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to assist clients in developing healthier thought patterns and coping strategies.
