FREE Books for Your Child, From Birth to Age Five
Did you know your child may be eligible to receive free books every month until they turn five? Through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, families can build a home library at no cost while helping children develop a lifelong love of reading!
Dolly Parton founded the Imagination Library with a simple but powerful goal: inspire a love of reading, regardless of income. Once enrolled, children receive one age-appropriate book in the mail each month, from birth through age five. That’s up to 60 books delivered directly to your home!
Early exposure to books supports language development, strengthens family bonding through shared reading, and helps prepare children for success in school. For parents and caregivers, it’s an easy way to make reading part of a child’s daily routine without added cost.
