Gifts of Hope 2025

Over the past several days, cars and trucks lined up to drop off donated gifts for families in need. Donations arrived steadily throughout the week as community members delivered items for the Gifts of Hope program.

This year marked the largest Gifts of Hope program to date. A total of 195 donors signed up, supporting nearly 340 families and more than 750 children. Their participation ensured families could rely on additional support during the holiday season.

The volume of donations quickly filled six storage PODS. Hallways, conference rooms, and offices were used to organize and store gifts as they were sorted for distribution. Volunteers assisted with unloading vehicles and organizing items so everything would be ready for family pick-up.

Gifts of Hope continues to reflect strong community involvement. The program is made possible by individuals, families, and organizations who choose to participate each year. Their support allows Oakland Family Services to meet a critical need for the families we serve.

Thank you to everyone who donated or volunteered their time. We also thank our Gifts of Hope sponsors, McLaren Oakland and Princeton Management, for their support of this program.
