Oakland Family Services provides safe and loving homes for children through foster care and adoption. The agency also ensures that there are enough temporary homes for children through the training and licensing of foster parents.

Oakland Family Services provides programs that assist families with parenting challenges in the comfort of their homes. Programs provided also identify and assist with children's developmental delays. Offerings include Early On and the Parents as Teachers program.
