Providing children + families
the proper tools for their future
Day One is Oakland Family Services' mental health and substance use counseling program. We offer caring, confidential, research-based therapy for people of all ages for anxiety, depression, family trauma, and drug and alcohol addiction. Day One also offers the Project Recovery Intensive Services for Mother (PRISM) program, which provides pregnant women and mothers with one-on-one and group therapy, as well as skill-building sessions, and transportation and childcare, when needed.
Specialized Services for Youth
Funded by the Oakland Community Health Network, the Specialized Services for Youth program provides counseling for youth ages 6-21 with severe emotional disturbance and their families.
